You can use a cotton bud with oil and apply it to the tooth or you can chew a clove on the painful tooth and get relief almost instantly. The clove oil is very potent, so use it only once every couple of hours. Chewing raw onion can get the same result. Another thing you could do to ease the pain is to take a swig of alcohol and swish it around your mouth. However, this does have to be a very potent alcohol. Other methods for instant pain relief are to add 2-3 drops of vanilla extract on the tooth, or you could put a little oil of oregano on the painful tooth or if you don’t like putting things in your mouth you could try putting an ice cube on the nearest cheek, 3 or 4 times a day. If you would like to try some medicated drugs for ease the pain then ou could ask the chemist for Ibuprofen or Tylenol. However, why not try the home remedies first.
Experts in homeopathy says that a 30x dose of Belladonna or Magnesia phosphorica every 30 to 60 minutes will diminish the pain. These can be found in health food stores. Some other experts says to try a charcoal compress, especially for a quick relief to a toothache. Some say that you need to increase your intake of calcium and magnesium to soothe the pain of a toothache. So take 500 milligrams of calcium and 200-300 milligrams of magnesium, but to be effective this must be done at the first sign of a toothache.
In summary, tooth pain relief can be achieved through natural remedies that you can find from your own home. These will hopefully help ease the pain and if you are lucky, may even get rid of it for every. You really have nothing to lose, so go ahead and try some. However, if the tooth pain doesn’t get any better you will have to visit a dentist and get treatment and advice from them.
